|Leather Type||Kashmir Goat Suede|
In English it is known as Suede. The back side (flesh side) of Kashmir goat skin is very finely grinned. It gives the skin a velvety supple velour and pleasant warm touch.
Different scarring and vein structure gives each skin a unique looks. Extreme soft, supple and lightweight but absolutely tough are the main characteristics of goat Suede.
Northern Punjab and southern runner of the Himalayas of Pakistan are an ideal territory for Kashmir goat.
The Kashmir goat is physically small. In order to survive, an animal has to go several Kilometres daily. Here, it is exposed to the bareness of nature, which means that it must bear the temperatures up to 50°C in summer and below 0°C in winter. The temperature difference between day and night is also very serious. All this influence the hides of Kashmir goat: these remain relatively thin - their thickness is about 1.6 mm – ideal for ladies bags and garments because the skins must not be split. This leather is lightweight: A whole Kashmir goat skin, approx. 0.7 m², weighs about 200 g. It is so robust that Dudra East ensures you a 2 years Quality Guarantee for each bag.
Contrary to usual Leather industry, Dudra East avoids any cleavage: Through a careful selection of the skins, we decide which skin is suitable for which article without cleavage. Please note: even thin Leather is very tough and durable, if its thickness consists of a whole skin. We use the largest possible pieces of leather for our products, as everyone knows that the joints are the weak points.
Responsibility for people and the environment is also emphasized here: selected Kashmir goat skins are tanned by experienced tanners using biodegradable treatment agent - no pollution and are not "embellished" with plastic covering colours. These valuable skins are through dyed with water soluble aniline dyes. This leather is of course Chrome V1, PCP and AZO colours free.
We avoid every unnecessary feeding: Instead the backside of leather is very finely buffed with a special technique therefore it is velvety and absolute lint-free.
Dudra East leather is skin friendly and does not cause allergies.
100% Halal Leather. Leather and lining of Dudra East products confirm to Islamic Halal Law.
